Common questions

I bought Remove Ads / a taxi and it's gone after reinstalling.

Open the store in the game (the gift icon) and tap Restore Purchases, signed in to the same Google or Apple account you bought with. Subscriptions restore the same way.

How do I cancel the VIP subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by your store, not inside the game: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions; on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; VIP stays active until the paid period ends.

I lost my progress.

Progress is saved on your device only — there is no account and no cloud save in this version. Uninstalling the game deletes it, and we cannot restore it. Purchases can always be restored (above).

How do I turn off personalised ads?

Settings (gear icon) → Ad Privacy → Basic. Interstitial ads disappear entirely with Remove Ads or VIP.

Music and sounds

Settings has separate Sound and Music switches.

The taxi drives itself / I want manual gas.

Settings → Auto Gas. Off means you hold the GAS pedal yourself. Steering has Light / Normal / Sharp.

The game runs slowly.

Close other apps and make sure the phone is not in battery saver. Taxi Hero targets phones from about 2019 onward. If it still stutters, tell us the model — we tune for real devices.
